OCR: Importing PICT files You import draw-type (PICT) files by using the "Place or "Open. commands on the File menu or the "Paste command on the Edit menu. PICT and PICT2 images (draw-type graphics) such as those created with MacDraw or Aldus Persuasion, contain mathematicall described elements, which are sometimes called objects. PICT graphics, which may be black and white or color or filled with patterns, can be ungrouped and manipulated like other Aldus FreeHand elements once they are imported into an illustration. Note: You may import PICT files that were created in programs that use patterned fills and lines to simulate tints.
